A team of five Nelmac staff spent five days in the Abel Tasman National Park to clear, clean, and re-bait pest traps while recording trap data. The team walked into the park from Totaranui and stayed ain huts each night.

Two of the team work on clearing major trees and branches that were felled by wind along trap lines. They were skilled with chainsaws and needed the ability to carry and move heavy objects.

All members of the team were trained to be able to navigate their way and work alone in heavy bush. A high level of fitness and fatigue management meant that the client was extremely pleased with the outcome of Nelmac’s services.
